Leonard Ray Stockard Dec 20, 1910 - Aug 20, 1963 CORSICANA, Texas - Services for Leonard R. Stockard, 52, Corsicana, brother of Gwen Stockard of Dallas, were held Wednesday from the Frost Baptist Church. He died Tuesday. Notes: Submitted by Karen Rost Frost Cemetery, Frost, Navarro Co., TX --- Leonard Ray Stockard L. R. Stockard Dies Tuesday Of Heart Attack Leonard R. Stockard, 52, of 1608 Maplewood, died of a heart attack on his father's farm in the Frost area Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. from the Frost Baptist church with burial in the Frost Cemetery. The rites will be conducted by Rev. C. C Ellis, pastor. Stockard was a native of Frost. He and his father were looking over tractors, it was stated when the seizure occurred. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Stockard, Corsicana, fifth grade teacher in the Sam Houston elementary school; a son, Tommy Stockard, Houston, a stepson, Don Harvey, Corsicana; two daughters, Mrs. Deana Person and Miss Jerry Lee Stockard, both of Houston; four grandchildren, parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Stockard, Frost; a brother, Gwen Stockard, Dallas; a sister. Mrs. Undine Ratliff, Llano, and other relatives. McCormick directs.
