Obituary Alfred Auther Adler Dec 11, 1920 - Dec 9, 2000 Alfred Auther Adler, 79, of Frost, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at Navarro Regional Hospital. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Peter Kolb officiating. Interment will follow at Frost Cemetery. Mr. Adler was born Dec. 11, 1920 in Malone to Edward and Alvina Adler. He worked as a foreman for Lubrizol Chemical Company. He served in World War II in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Adler, and his sister, Victoria Huse. Mr. Adler is survived by wife, Gladys Adler of Frost; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Jackie Adler of Waco; brother, Erwin Adler of Bynum; sisters, Erna Duretta of Nacogdoches, Ruth Schronk of Hewitt, Ester Bunn of San Angelo, Lillie Kelly of Amarillo and Gertrude Chadler of Houston; sister-in-law Nita Adler of Hillsboro; granddaughters Keri Adler of Waco and Shari and husband Rodney Castilleja of Waco; and two great-grandchildren.
