Bio
Gladys Adler, 77, of Waco, formerly of Frost, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors East Side Chapel in Hillsboro, with the Rev. Peter Kolb of Faith Lutheran Church in Corsicana officiating. Interment will be at Frost Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors East Side Chapel. Gladys was born in Malone, Texas, to the late Louis and Mary Muesse. She grew up in Frost and graduated from Frost High School. On Dec. 22, 1949, she married Alfred Adler. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Corsicana and was very active in church work. She also loved to do arts and crafts, including sewing and quilting. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 9, 2000. Survivors include her son, Larry Adler and wife, Jackie, of Waco; grandchildren, Shari Downing and husband, Jason and Keri Tindell and husband, Roy, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Megan, Mallory and Madison Castilleja and Jordan Tindell; brother, Curtis Muesse and wife, Judy, of Stone Mountain, GA; sister, Bernice Valentine and husband, Richard, of Lancaster; other family members; and many friends.
