(Ref: CARLSBAD CURRENT-ARGUS, Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico, dated for Wednesday, October 8, 1952, front page, reads as follows: OIL PUMPER DEAD IN HIGHWAY CRASH IN MISSISSIPPI Henry Tutor, Jr., 33, an oil pumper for Neil Wills, was killed in an automobile-truck accident at Vicksburg, Miss., Sunday afternoon. The Tutors, Carlsbad residents for a number of years, have been living on the Neil Wills oil lease east of the city. Tutor is survived by his mother, Mrs. James Cates of Artesia; his father, H.F. Tutor of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. J.R. East, Mrs. Rex Keen and Mrs. Virgil Haley, all of Carlsbad; and one brother, T.A. Tutor of Eunice. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church here with the pastor, Rev. J. Melvin Ray, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery with West Funeral Home directing.
