CARLSBAD CURRENT-ARGUS Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico February 14, 1983 SADLER Funeral services for Alonzo Clark Sadler, 89, 2002 Westridge St., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Crutchfield and Dr. Pete Trone officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of West Funeral Home. He died Saturday in a local nursing home. He was born and raised in Belleville, Ark. and moved to Carlsbad in 1935. He attended college in Russellville, Ark. where he received a degree in agriculture. A retired barber, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Carlsbad New Mexico Barber union Local 477 and of the New Mexico State Board Examiners of Barbers. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle, Carlsbad; a son, Thomas Lindel, Forth Worth, Texas; two daughters, Myralon Perkowski, Carlsbad and Willa Jean Thomas, Amarillo, Texas; and 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
