This grave was relocated in May 1950 by the Corps Of Engineers from the Old Friend Cemetery in Theodosia, MO when Bulls Shoals Reservoir was constructed and covered cemetery with water. See Corps of Engineers Drawing: Bull Shoals Reservoir Cemetery Relocation Serial 5955 File 139/1691. ................................................... Mary "Polly" was a daughter of Marlin/Martin and Mary Ruth (Briggs) Herd. She was married to Samuel Haskins on July 15, 1859 in Missouri. They had one son, Joseph G. Haskins. Mary married Elijah Friend on July 15, 1865 in Ozark co., Missouri. They had several children.
