This grave was relocated in May 1950 by the Corps Of Engineers from the Old Friend Cemetery in Theodosia, MO when Bulls Shoals Reservoir was constructed and covered cemetery with water. Graves were moved to the "New Friend" Cemetery which is located on land owned by Jessie James Friend who was Elijah's son. It is located between Theodosia and Isabella just off highway 160
