BENEDICT "BEN" FRANCIS KOBZA, 62, of Arizona, formerly of Brighton, died Aug. 8. Services 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at Rice Mortuary, Brighton, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Kobza was born in Ulysses, Neb., Feb. 1, 1933. He was a long-distance truck driver. Survivors include wife O.J.; sons Mike, Kevin, both of Brighton, Jeff of Arizona, Ty of Oklahoma; daughters Debra Crawford of Denver, Cindy Wittmus, Barbara Kobza, both of Brighton, Karla Baker of Florida, brothers Frank, Joe, both of Nebraska; sisters Jane Schrier, Betty Rerucka, Connie Mimick, all of Nebraska, Mercye Baltny of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren.
