Bio
Betty Kobza Rerucha, 76, of David City, passed away on December 30, 2016 at David Place in David City. Betty Kobza was born February 22, 1940 in Ulysses to Frank and Irene(Mazanec) Kobza. She graduated from Dwight Assumption School, and worked at the Coop in Bee for many years. Betty was united in marriage to James Rerucha on January 3, 1959 and 3 children were born to this union. She had a green thumb and loved all types of gardening. Betty also enjoyed canning, watching birds, being outdoors, and going to bowling league. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Betty is survived by her children: David(Kathy) Rerucha, of Ft. Meyers, FL, Richard(Diane) Rerucha, of David City, and Barbara Rerucha, of David City; sisters: Jane(Joe) Schrier, of Grand Island, Marcy Blatny, of North Carolina, and Connie(Frank) Zidko, of Spencer; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ben, Frank, and Joe Kobza; granddaughter: Jennifer Rerucha; and significant other: Don Makovicka.
