Bio

Tillie F. Vasicek Denver, CO Resident, 96 Tillie F. Vasicek, 96, a longtime Ord resident, died quietly on January 18, 2011 at her home in Lowry Park in Denver, CO. A graveside service will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheatridge, Colorado on January 28, 2011 at 1 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Lowry Park on January 30, 2011 at 2 p.m. Condolences may be offered at CrownHillFuneral.com. Tillie ran a doughnut shop on the south side of the square in Ord. She was one of the first people to work in the new cafeteria at Ord High School. She and George moved to Haxtun, CO in 1958, then migrated to Denver in 1972 to be closer to their sons and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Marvin, Alvin, and Donald, sister, Irene Meyer, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and her son, Dennis, both of whom died in late 2010.
