Carolyn Ann "Carol" Seidel, 79, of Burwell, died Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Valley County Living Center in Ord. Carol was born June 24, 1931, in Geneva to Reno and Lois (Haney) Weis. Carol was preceded in death by her two children, Jon Jezek and Mary Walling, and her husband, Gilbert Seidel. Carol is survived by her grandchildren; son-in-law, Steve Walling of Raymond; daughter-in-law, Sue Jezek of Lander, Wyo.; and eight stepchildren and their families, Margaret Seidel of Ord, Patricia and Rod Valasek of Comstock, John and Cindy Seidel of Ainsworth, Gerald Seidel of Crawford, Dennis Seidel of Sargent, Dale and Teresa Seidel of Burwell, Frank and Marilyn Seidel of La Crosse, Kan., and Robert and Vonnie Seidel of Ainsworth.
