Lucy Terry Wood Harper was an outstanding mother whose husband died and left her with five children of her own, When Lucy married John Long Scott in 1849 she added another seven children to care for. Lucy Wood Harper Scott had two sons with John L Scott; Isaac and Charles Scott Lucy Had 5 children with her 1st husband George Harper John Harper born 1836 Rice Harper born 1838 Betty A.
