The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Thu. Jan 3, 1963 - Page 2 Obituary, Sanders-- Harriet Dora Sanders, the daughter of Cornelus and Wilhelmina Sanders was born May 15, 1884, near Glenvil, Nebraska. She departed from this life December 19, 1962 at the Hastings Hospital. On July 20, 1902, she was united in marriage to William Meester, who proceeded her in death in 1944. Five other children died in infancy. Mrs. Meester is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Minnie Koci, Ong, Mrs. Ann Hoyt of Fairfield, Mrs. Gertrude Connaway of Meeker, Colo., Mrs. Florence Onken of Aurora and Mr. Sophia Naggatz of Harvard, Nebr. Two sons Neal of Corvallis, Oregon and Alfred of Salt Lake City, Utah. A step-son Henry of Fairfield. One brother, Henry Sanders of Hastings. Thirty grandchildren and fifty four great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted December 22, 1962, from the Fairfield Community Church, Rev. Henry E. Fawcett officiating. Interment was in the Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. The arrangements were made by McLaughlin Funeral Home.
