Johnny Joswiak Sept. 10, 1929 - Sept. 14, 2010 Johnny Joswiak, 81, of Navasota, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at his residence. Visitation was at 5 p.m. Thursday, at Nobles Funeral Chapel with a 7 p.m. prayer service. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Navasota. Rite of committal will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Johnny was born September 10, 1929 in Brenham to Mike and Annie (Kopczyinski) Joswiak. He married Rosa Thane in Hempstead on September 19, 1953. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve and Eddie Joswiak; sisters, Regina Garrett and Carrie Kapchinski; and grandson, Cody Joswiak. Survivors include his wife Rosa; sons & daughter-in-law, Larry & Cheryl Joswiak, Michael Joswiak, and Douglas Joswiak, all of Navasota; sister, Gertrude Bohack-Shelfer of Bryan; brother & sisters-in-law, Max & Anna Joswiak of Anderson, Gloria Joswiak of Brenham, and Mary Joswiak of Anderson; and grandchildren, Aaron Joswiak and Kyle Joswiak, both of Navasota. Serving as pallbearers are Ray Busse, Bill Shive, Ricky Thane, and Richard Krolczyk, all of Navasota, Ruben Garcia
