Funeral was held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the Kiker-Rains-Seale Chapel with the Reverend Fred Smith officiating. Burial was in the Colorado City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Huey Jones, Dave Stubblefield, Dennis Fortenberry, Homer Cannon, Charles Henderson and H. J. Hoback. Penskofer was born in Oklahoma, October 1, 1902. He was a retired commercial fisherman, farmer and carpenter. He had lived In Colorado City the past six years. Surviving him is one son, Douglas Penskofer of Staton, California; 3 sisters, Mrs. Celia Franklin of Colorado City, Mrs. Katy Lindgren of lndiahoma, Oklahoma, and Emma Reis of Detrolt Michigan; and 2 grandchildren.
