Hillsboro Reporter Thursday, April 17, 1997 Presley Williams Mr. Presley M. (Chine) Williams, 79, of Whitney died Saturday, April 12, at Lake Whitney Medical Center. He was born November 4, 1917 in the Bethlehem Community in Hill County, son of Daniel Washington and Rose Ann Myers Williams. He lived in the Whitney area most of his life except for a few years at Bynu, and while in the armed service. He married Vivian Marie Pettey October 5, 1944, and she preceded him in death August 17, 1991. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lear Wilson, Donie Williams and Eula Wood; and two brothers, Burney Williams and Marshall Williams. Survivors include: one brother, W.D. Williams of Hillsboro; and two sisters, Ann Rose of Hillsboro and LaVerne Wallace of Whitney. Funeral services were held Monday, April 14, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Dr. Allan Lane officiating. Burial was at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.
