Lyla (Smith) Clark Jamison Printed in The Davis News on Jan. 6, 1994; Reprinted with permission LYLA SMITH JAMISON Graveside memorial services were held January 6 for Lyla Smith Jamison, 87, Ada, at Condon Grove Cemetery with Rev. M. L. Stegall officiating. Fox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jamison was born November 20, 1906 at Wapanucka, Indian Territory and died January 1 at Valley View Hospital, Ada. Her parents were James Richard and Dora (Ball) Smith. She married Merle Martin Clark August 11, 1927. He preceded her in death June 24, 1963. She married Tom Jamison November 5, 1975. He preceded her in death March 10, 1982. Two sons, Merle Martin Jr., February 14, 1929, and Robert Martin, November 27, 1981, also preceded her in death. She was a member of Presbyterian Church. She was a retired school teacher. Survivors include a brother, J. Robert Smith of Garden Grove, California; a niece, Ann Wariner of Midwest City; a nephew, Thetus Smith, also of Midwest City, and several cousins.
