Bio

BORGER - Evelyn Barclay, 91, died Friday, March 18, 2011, in Amarillo. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Borger with the Rev. Tim Bernard, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Barclay was born Sept. 15, 1919, in Forestburg to Clarence and Dovie Reeves. She and Jim Barclay married in 1937, and resided in the Phillips/Borger area. Survivors include her children, Bob Barclay of Crowley, James Barclay of Borger, Brenda Willhite of Vega and Linda Amrine of The Villiages, Fla.; a brother, Oval Reeves of Amarillo; a sister, Irene Phelan of Borger; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
