James Barclay July 12, 1942 - May 3, 2014 James Barclay, 71, of Borger, passed away, Saturday May 3, 2014 in Amarillo. James Barclay was born July 12, 1942 in Saint Jo, Texas to James Curtis and Evelyn Josephine (Reeves) Barclay. He worked for Panhandle Eastern and Duke Energy for 54 years as a welder. Mr. Barclay is preceded in death by his parents; James Curtis Barclay and Evelyn Josephine (Reeves) Barclay. Survivors include Jo Ann Barclay of the home; daughter Angela Barclay Manoney and husband John of Frisco, TX.; step daughter Amy Hubband and husband Teddy of Borger; brother Bob Barclay and wife Theda of Crowley; two sisters Brenda Willhite and husband Hayden of Vega, TX. and Linda Amrine and husband Charles of Villages, FL.; aunt Irene Phelan; and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM, May 8, 2014 with officiating Hayden Willhite. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park. Viewing will be at Brown Funeral Directors in Borger on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 8:00 AM until service time.
