Bio
Janie Marie Worley sleeping quietly in the morning of March 23, 2007, found eternal peace. She was born in Ennis, TX on November 29, 1918 to Czech immigrants Jan and Stephanie Zhanel. Se is survived by her daughter, Linda Mitchell-Hoffman and son John Worley, both now living in the Austin area. She also leaves her sister, Dorothy Brainerd, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janie was only 5' tall. Those who knew her will remember her for her strength, her determination, her perseverance and her courage in the face of adversity. We will all remember her best and most lovingly for her heroism in caring for her husband, O B Worley, during the ten years before his death that he lay paralyzed. She was his nurse, his guardian, his protector and his advocate. Those ten years were the most difficutl of her life, but also the most noble.
