Buddy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wanda Partain of Yucaipa, California; daughters, Lorri (Jim) Leidl of Yucaipa and Railene (Tony) Antinucci of Yucaipa; son Paul (Pauline) Partain of Calimesa, California; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Robert, Ronald, and Jimmy as well as many neices and nephews. Buddy was predeceased by his parents Albert and Muriel Partain, brothers Bert, Larry, Billie, and Joe. Buddy "Bud" D. Partain, 76, died March 10, 2011, in Redlands surrounded by his family. Born June 22, 1934, in Bokoshe, Okla. the second of eight boys born to Albert and Muriel Partain, he was a resident of Yucaipa. His family moved to Beaumont when he was the age of nine. Bud married Wanda McCollum, in 1956 and they made their home in Yucaipa. Bud owned the Texaco Service Station in Yucaipa for many years and ultimately retired with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department after over 20 years of service. He was a faithful member of the church of Christ for over 50 years. Bud loved listening to all kinds of music and found great pleasure in playing and collecting instruments, however, his true passions were his love for the Lord and his family and friends. He created many great memories at the family cabin in Barton Flats. He is survived by his wife, of 54 years, Wanda Partain; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jim and Lorri Leidl of Yucaipa, Tony and Railene Antinucci of Yucaipa; son and daughter-in-law Paul and Pauline Partain of Calimesa: eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and brothers Robert, Ronald and Jimmy, as well as many much- loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers — Bert, Larry, Billie and Joe. Memorial services were held March 15 and 16 at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont with Minister Richard Shields officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont.
