Jodie Paul Partain JODIE PAUL PARTAIN Was born in Bokoshe, OK on August 24, 1938 and went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2009 at his home in Beaumont, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Estle and Muriel Beatrice Partain; his wife, Rosa Darlene Partain and brothers, Bert, Larry and Bill Partain. Joe spent his early childhood in OK before moving to CA with his parents and brothers. He grew up in Beaumont where he played football and graduated from Beaumont High School. Although he moved back to OK for a number of years, he spent the last several years of his life in Beaumont. Joe was well loved by so many due to his love of people and his willingness to be a friend to all who came in contact with him. A lover of life and the Lord, he lived everyday with grace and enthusiasm. He is survived by his children: Linda Wells and husband Jim of Yucaipa, CA, Theresa Brown and husband of TN, Gayle Tackett and husband Darrell of Palm Springs, Jodie Partain and wife Juli of Joshua Tree, CA, Gloria Aary and husband Larry of Sapulpa, OK and Greg Farrar of Desert Hot Springs, CA; brothers, Robert Long of Omaha, NE, Bud Partain of Yucaipa, CA, Ronald Partain of Cherry Valley, CA and Jim Partain of Palm Desert, CA; fourteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 from 3pm-5pm at the Weaver Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at the Beaumont Church of Christ on Friday, February 6, 209 at 10:00am. There will be a luncheon following services. Private graveside services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Beaumont, CA.
