From THE TOPEKA CAPITAL-JOURNAL WICHITA--James R. Pavlacka Sr., 56, died Friday, August 6, 1999. He was a representative for the Dept. of Labor, a former KPL employee and past president of IBEW Local 304. He had served in the National Guard. He was born Aug. 19, 1942, in Junction City, the son of Raymond Pavlacka and Enid Zeitlow Pavlacka. He married Vivian Mayers. She survives, of the home. Survivors also include two sons: James R. Pavlacka Jr., Wichita, and Mark Pavlacka, Andale; a stepson, Denny Corner, Wichita; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Porter, Wichita, and Kristey Andrews, Portland, Ore.; a brother, Jan Pavlacka, Topeka; his mother, Enid Pavlacka, Topeka and six grand children. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Wichita. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation of Kansas, Inc. Added by JH
