The Hillsboro Mirror Wednesday, March 11, 1953 Jackie McCoy Wood Jackie McCoy Wood, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Wood Route 2, Whitney, died in a local hospital at 10:45 Tuesday night. Jackie was born and reared in Hill County. He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Billy of Hillsboro, Tommie and Jerry Wood of Whitney. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. D.W. Williams of Hillsboro. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Marshall and Marshall Chapel by the Rev. S.E. Weller of Whitney. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
