Bio

Funeral services for Louis J. Drab, 64, of Rt. 1, La Grange, were held Saturday, October 29, at 10:00 A.M. at the Knesek Chapel in Fayetteville with continued services at the Fayetteville Catholic Church. The Reverend Ben Mazurkiewicz officiated, and burial was in the Fayetteville Catholic Cemetary under the direction of the Koenig Funeral Home of La Grange. Mr. Drab died at his home on October 26. He was born in Fayetteville on October 25, 1902, son of John H. and Mary Svrcek Drab. He had lived here about 33 years. Surviving him at the time of his death were his three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Malinowski and Ann Jurica, both of Houston, and Mrs. Judith Beck of La Grange; three sons, Lawrence and Edwin Drab, both of Houston, and Ruddie Drab of La Grange; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Orsak of Halletsville and Mrs. Angeline Mikeska of Caldwell; two brothers, Jim Drab of Houston and Benno Drab of Oakland, California; and 11 grandchildren.
