My sweet baby sister. Janet "Dumpy Jan" Maurine Bateman Frye was the 2nd daughter and last child of Harley Dean Bateman and Permelia Ruth Green Bateman. She married her one love very early in life but her life was snuffed out by a gun accident at the hand of a friend's husband. The cause of death was listed as Respiratory Arrest, Brain injury with hemorrhage, gun shot wound. There were no children in her young life. Jean Wallace Sister Bateman Family History
