Tobey Burial At Maxie CROWLEY, La. – Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Basco Vinton Tobey, 82, retired cabinet maker, who died at his New Orleans residence Tuesday. Burial was in the Maxie Cemetery. Tobey was born in Crowley on Oct. 10, 1892. Surviving are his widow, the former Ruth Lusson; a son, Vin Tobey, Jr., of New Orleans; three daughters, Mrs. Norine Moore of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Sarah Gossen and Mrs. Gloria Dahmer, both of Lake Charles; four brothers, D. R. Tobey of Winnie, Tex., J. A. Tobey of Gonzales, and S. W. Tobey of Nederland, Tex.; three sisters Mrs. Thelma Huff of Lafayette, Mrs. Louetta Seale of Gonzales, and Mrs. Wanda McGraw of Salus, Ark.; and 16 grandchildren. Contributor: PatM (47863947)
