Amarillo Globe-News Amarillo, Texas April 26, 2009 RICHMOND, Va. - Mondeleen Miles "Rusty" Baker, 84, formerly of Hereford and Childress, Texas, died Sunday, March 29, 2009. No services are scheduled. Rusty was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Josephine, Texas, to the late Eulas Binum Miles and Flossie Lillian Ivy. She was the wife of the late Lorn Lee Baker. She was raised in Hereford and was a member of First Methodist Church in Childress. She spent her life doing genealogy research, sewing, painting, gardening and hairdressing. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Farrell Irwin Miles, Wallace Herrald Miles and James Marley Miles. Survivors include a son, Darrell Miles Baker; a daughter-in-law, Catherine Baker; three brothers, Eugene Auther Miles, Francis B. Miles and Clinton Cates; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association, 2514 82nd St., Suite B, Lubbock, TX 79423. ********** Married 1st to Hurschel Blanton and 2nd to Lorn Lee Baker
