Odena Black McClenny Lindale Rites Saturday LINDALE - Services for Odena Black McClenny, 83, Lindale, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lindale Church of Christ with Dan Shipley, Randy Harshbarger and Jack Holt officiating. Burial will be in the Lindale City Cemetery under direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home of Lindale. Mrs. McClenny died Wednesday in a Tyler hospital. She was born April 26,1911 in Smith County and was a lifelong resident of the Lindale and Smith County area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lindale Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, J. W. McClenny, Lindale; four sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Joyce McClenny, James and Coralee McClenny, Bobby and Mary Ann McClenny and Charles and Rachel McClenny, all of Lindale; five daughters and sons-in-law, Elouise and Bob Cook, Sarah Ann and Dan Hicks, Carolyn and John Brown, Nita and Curtis Herring, all of Lindale; and Betty and Bennie Hilburn, Tyler; one sister, one brother Murray Black, Mineola; one sister and brother-in-law Mildred and Tad Hines, Ben Wheeler; two sisters-in-law, Cora Hicks, Tyler; and Ilene McClenny, Lindale; 32 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Tyler Morning Telegragh - Friday, February 24, 1995
