Married Edd Hobbs December 31, 1901. He died March 1, 1940 and is buried beside her . Funeral services for Allie L. Hobbs,96, an Olney resident who died Thursday were held at the Lunn Chapel Sunday. Ed Jones, Pastor of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ officiating. She was born in Wise County and had lived in Olney thirty years. She was a housewife and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Phillips of Olney and Lena Mae Benefield of Odessa; a son Grady Hobbs of Hobbs, New Mex.; fifteen grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
