September 30, 2000 THE ODESSA AMERICAN Lamoine Swafford KERMIT — Lamoine E. Swafford, 80, of Kerrville, a retired pumper for Exxon Oil Co.,died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000, in Kerrville.Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Community Church with the Rev. Henry O. Freund officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. He was born in Electra and had been a resident of Kermit for 50 years before moving to Kerrville.He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Protestant. SURVIVORS: Sons, Doug Swafford of Dallas and Max Swafford of Ingram;daughter, Cathey Green of Upland, Calif.; brother, Jack Swafford of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters, Benita Nichols of Austin and Lorene Kelly of Odessa; and four grandchildren.
