Colgan NAMPA — Services for Mrs. Anna C. Colgan, 82, Huntington Park, Calif., a former Nampa resident who died Monday in a Lynwood, Calif., hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Alsip Chapel, Nampa, with the Rev. Keith Mills, Nampa First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Kohlerlawn. She was born June 17, 1883, at Detroit, Mich., and was reared in Nebraska. She was married to Henry Chapen Colgan in 1903 at Tyndall, S.D., and they homesteaded at Lyman County, S.D., and Orella, Neb., where they made their home for a number of years before coming to Nampa in 1937. He died Nov. 5, 1959. She had made her home with her son in Southern California for the past five years. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Loney W. Colgan, Huntington Park; two brothers, James Novak, Rapid City, S.D., and Ruddie Novak, Kent. Wash.; five sisters, Mrs. Lue Jelinek and Mrs. Bess Brainard, both of Storm Lake, Iowa, Mrs. Mary New, San Jose, Calif. , Mrs. Mattie Clark, Ventura, Calif., and Mrs. Alys Carter, Cudahy, Calif.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
