obituary from Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home: Arlin Lee Parks of Mabank, TX passed away on January 3, 2011 in Mabank at the age of 87. Arlin was born on September 19, 1923 in Blue Ridge, TX to the late Roy and Hazel (Luster) Parks. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. Arlin was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Arlin served in WWII in the Navy Sea Bees. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Hazel Parks; his first wife, Gladys Parks and his second wife, Mozelle Parks. Those left to celebrate his life are; a daughter, Katerina Arriaga and husband Daniel of Richardson, TX; granddaughters, Kami Alexander and husband Jim of Sherman, TX, Kristi Gardner and husband Chad of McKinney, TX; five great grandchildren, Macy Alexander, Abby Alexander, Logan Alexander all of Sherman, TX, Presley Gardner and Preston Gardner of McKinney, TX. Visitation will be Wednesday January 5, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, TX. Services will be Thursday January 6, 2011 at 10:00 am at Anderson Clayton Bros.
