wife of Weldon Stice; mother of Mary Linda Stice; Laura Carolyn Stice; Winnie Faye Stice Letha Mae (Loftice) Stice Our wonderful mother Letha Mae Loftice Stice passed quietly from this earth, surrounded by family, Thursday afternoon, January 31, 2013 walking into the sunset to be with her Lord Jesus Christ and to join Dad, Weldon Stice, who preceded her in death on May 4, 2006 after 60 years of marriage. Visitation will be at Dannel Funeral Home on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be at Forest Avenue Baptist Church in Sherman on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with the Deacon Randy Clark officiating. Interment follow at Melissa Cemetery following services. Letha Mae was born on December 23, 1926 in Anna, TX to Laura E. Buffington Loftice and Collin T. Loftice. She married the love of her life, Weldon "Fuzz" Stice on March 23, 1946 in McKinney. Her greatest joys in life were serving her Lord at Forest Avenue Baptist Church, and spending time with her large group of family and friends. She loved to plan trips, camp and travel across our great country in the old Dodge Ram. She was employed at Burlington Industries in Sherman for 32 years. Letha Mae will be missed by her loving sister, Dollie Luster; daughters, Linda Speakman of Sherman and Faye Stephens and husband Lindsey of Hendrix, Okla.; special son-in-law Larry Swindle and wife Shirley of Sherman; grandchildren, Thomas Speakman and wife Angela of Live Oak, Tim Speakman and wife Shellye of Frisco, Laura Swindle Fajerson, Jeff Swindle and wife April of Durant, Okla., Heather Stephens of Sherman, Jeremiah Stephens and fiancé Christa Ensley of Sherman, Chad Strohecker and wife Callie of Pottsboro, and Jason Stephens in Taiwan. She also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and daughter Laura Carolyn Swindle, three brothers and one sister. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Phillip Pitts, Dr. Winston Marshall, and all of the staff at Grayson Home Health, especially Amber.
