Billy "Bill" Ray Loftice of McKinney passed away July 26, 2012 at the age of 86. He was born December 23, 1925 in Melissa to Nat and Ruby Dell (Karnaghan) Loftice. On October 17, 1945, Bill married Sue Knox in McKinney. He was a carpenter by trade and president of the Melissa Cemetery Association. Bill was a member of First Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Sue Loftice of McKinney; daughter, Jimann Woods and husband Brent of Whitesboro; grandchildren, Valerie Grygar and husband Matt of Carrollton, Natalie Woods of Sachse, and Ryan Woods of Sachse; sisters-in-law, Venita Loftice of Gilmer, and Mary Ann Loftice of Melissa; and aunt, Blanch Karnaghan of McKinney; many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Loftice was preceded in death by his parents, Nat and Ruby Dell Loftice; three brothers, J.W., Buck and Joe Loftice; and one sister, Ruby Medcalf. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen. Interment will follow at Melissa Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6 -8 p.m. on Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of McKinney, 1800 W.
