Christian Wake Services were held at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel , Sunday, December 19. Funeral Mass was said Monday December 20 at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Megargel with Friar Richard Eldredge officiating. He attended Megargel Schools and graduated Decatur High School in 1951. He attended East Texas State University. He was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholioc Church in Megargel. Survivors include a son Monte Kulhanek of Olney; a sister, Sister Adelaide Kulhanek of Mountainview, Calif.; two brothers George Kulhanek and wife Frances and Charlie Kulhanek and wife Rosie, all of Megargel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Kulhanek; and two sisters, Sophie Wilborn and Edith J. Kulhanek. ************************************ Kulhanek, Joe E. 1933-2004 Funeral for Joe E. Kulhanek died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, in Seymour. Born March 18, 1933, in Baylor County to Anton and Annie Kubish Kulhanek, he was a 1951 graduate of Decatur High School and attended East Texas State University. He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Kulhanek; and two sisters, Sophie Wilborn and Edith J. Kulhanek. He is survived by a son, Monte Kulhanek of Olney; a sister, Adelaide Kulhanek of Mountain View, Calif.; and two brothers, George Kulhanek and wife, Frances, and Charlie Kulhanek and wife, Rosie, all of Megargel.
