Bio

Evelyn (nee Averett) McClelland died July 25, 1999 in San Angelo at the age of 69. She was born in Coleman County, Texas on March 24, 1930. Graveside services were officiated by Frank Berthold, minister for the Chadbourne North Church of Christ. She leaves behind three sons; Jimmy McClelland of Odessa, Bobby McClelland of San Angelo and Jay McClelland of Robert Lee; two brothers, Jack Averett of San Antonio and John Averett of Statesboro, GA.; two sisters, Louise Stewart of Odessa and Ann Motl of San Angelo. She also leaves seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Ninth and Main Church of Christ.
