The Columbus Telegram (Columbus, Nebr.), January 10, 1913, p. 7, col. 4 Mrs. Theresia Berger, a resident of Bellwood, passed away last Sunday, after a long illness. She was born in Austria, April 6, 1839. Funeral services were held January 7 at 10 a.m. at the residence and interment was made in the Luxemburg cemetery near Bellwood. '''''''''''''''' People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), January 16, 1913, p. 5, col. 2 BELLWOOD Gazette:- Grandma Berger died the residence of her son, northwest of Bellwood on Sunday morning last, aged about 75 years. Funeral was held Tuesday morning at St. Peter's church in Bellwood, conducted by the pastor, Rev. R. L. Bickert. Deceased leaves several sons and daughters to mourn the loss of a fond mother.
