Married Frank Ebel on October 19, 1885 in Alexis Precinct, Bulter County, Nebr. by Fr. John Miller. ''''''''''''''''''''' People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), October 17, 1912, p. 2, col. 3 & 4 BELLWOOD Mrs. Adam Lockner left Monday morning for her home at Cedar Bluffs having stopped here to see her daughter, Mrs. Dayton Smith, on her way from Spaulding where she had been to attend the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Frank Ebel, who died in Omaha from an operation for cancer. Mr. and Mrs. Ebel were early residents of Alexis, and the grief stricken ones have the sympathy of many friends here. Mrs. Lockner was accompanied home by her cousin, Mrs. Henry Shields.
