Abram John Wright was the son of Dr. Jacob Bowman Wright and Anna Elizabeth Mathews. He was born January 1870 at Lumpkin, Stewart Co., Georgia. He died after August 9, 1870 Lumpkin, Stewart Co., Georgia. His tombstone apparently lists his year of birth and death as 1868 but he is listed in the 1870 census of Stewart Co., Georgia which was taken as of August 9, 1870 He was buried at the Old Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown Road.
