Ralph"Doc"Edward Donahue Feb 10,1885-Jan 28,1946 Ralph"Doc"Edward Donahue, son of Edward and Helen Donahue, was born on February 10, 1885, at Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and passed away at his home in Ogallala, Nebraska on January 28. 1946. He reached the age of 60 years, 11 months and 18 days. At the age of 5 months, he moved with his parents to Flagstaff, Maine where he grew to manhood. In 1910 he moved to Comstock, Nebraska where he resided until he moved to Arthur county in 1914 taking up a homestead and engaging in ranching. On September 5 1918 he was untied on marriage to Nellie B.Hunt. To this union two daughters and one son were born. While in Arthur county, Mr. Donahue was postmaster of the Fora post office from 1928 until its discontinuation five years later. In 1935 Ralph retired from the ranch and moved to Ogallala where he has since resided. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Flagstaff, Maine since early manhood. services were held from the Congregational Church of Ogallala, Nebraska Wed. January 30, 1946 at 2p.m. Interment in the Ogallala Cemetery. Members of A.F. and A.M. officiating.
