She was one of eight children in the family. Eita moved with her family to the Geneva area in 1912. She received her elementary education in rural schools and at St. Joseph's Catholic School. She was graduated from the Geneva Public High School with the Class of 1921. Eita belonged to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Geneva and to the Altar Society. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Association. Her later years were occupied in working and gathering information for the family tree. Eita was the last living child or John and Cecilia Griffin and was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Myrven, William and Jim; four sisters, Marie, Cecilia Moran, Edna Simmon and Lorene McCashland. She is survived by nieces and nephew, Thomas Griffin of Littleton, Co., Frances Moran Seamont of Concord, Ca., Donna Moran Oliver of Scottsbluff, and Bernard Moran of Columbus; 16 grand-nieces and nephews and by eight great-grandnieces and nephews.
