Funeral services for Paul Starrett, age 58, of Yantis, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2011, with Rev. Don Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2011, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Paul Starrett passed away at his residence Monday morning, February 14, 2011. He was born in Dallas on September 30, 1952, the son of James Frank Starrett and Velma (Bussell) Starrett. He married Melissa Jo Jenkins in Yantis on June 27, 2003; she survives. Mr. Starrett was a safety supervisor for a construction company and a member of White Oak Baptist Church. Other survivors include: four daughters, Jessica Starrett Berry, Kaylyn Nunez, both of Yantis, Samantha Morgan of Emory and Natalie Robinson of Sulphur Springs; son, Christopher Starrett; father, James Frank Starrett, both of Yantis; brother Kenneth Starrett of Puerto Rico and grandchildren, Payton Berry, Macie Starrett, Colten Morgan, Emily Nunez, Caitlin and Jacob Robinson. He was preceded in death by his mother.
