Daughter of Charles & Christina (Blecha) Seidl. Married June 1, 1921 to Jerry Cernohlavek in Billings, MT. Remarried Apr. 1, 1960 to Curtis E. Thompson. Emma was the mother of one son, William. Thompson Emma J. Thompson, 75, of 817 N. 22nd St., retired telegrapher, had worked 41 years as an operator for Western Union. She began in Omaha, Nebr., and was transferred to Billings in 1920. She had retired in 1960. She died Friday in Glendeen Nursing Home. She entered the home in September. She was born April 20, 1900, in Wymore, Nebr., a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Seidl. Her parents settled in Worden in 1910, where she attended schools. She and her first husband Jerry Cernohlavek, were married June 1, 1921, in Billings. He died in 1944. She married Curtis E. Thompson April 1, 1960. He died in 1965. She was a member of First Congregational Church, Edna Hedges Eastern Star Chapter, Daughters of the Nile, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include a son, William Cernohlavek, a sister, Mrs. Bessie Brook of Longmont, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
