Bio

Graveside services were held today at West Side Cemetery for Effie F. Moody, 95, who died Monday in a Shafter convalescent hospital. She was born November 6, 1887 in Texas and had been a resident of the West Side since 1954. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include one brother, Hartage Cooper, Texas; two daughters Josephine Bramlett, Taft; and Nadine Duke, Taft; seven grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 21 great great grandchildren.
