Oct 25, 1991: Trenton - DOUGLAS L. TERRELL, 59, of Trenton died Wednesday at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Trenton. The Rev. James Henry of the church will officiate and burial will be in Burns Cemetery. Mr. Terrell was born in Weston, the son of Wade Eugene Terrell (should be Wade Ambrose Terrell) and Datie Mae Bullocks Terrell. On June 16, 1955, he married Minnie Jean Vincent in Sequin. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving in the Korean conflict and Vietnam War. He was a Baptist. Surviving are his wife ; son, Douglas Terrell 11 of Van Alstyne ; daughters, Nancy Chappell of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Vicki Florez of Moore, Oklahoma ; brothers, Don Terrell of Whitewright, D. W. Terrell of Pottsboro and C. A. Terrell and Clyde Terrell of Anna; sisters, Ruth Nitsche of Kilgore and Bonnie Free of McKinney ; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home in Trenton from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
