Sherman (TX) Democrat, May 11, 1994 Pottsboro - D. W. "POPS" TERRELL, 69 year old Pottsboro resident died Monday at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in Turrentine, Jackson, Morrow Funeral Chapel in McKinney. The Rev. Danny Buster will officiate. Mr. Terrell was born in Collin County, the son of Wade and Mae Terrell. On May 10, 1953, he married Patsy Joe Raines in California. He was a World War II Air Force veteran and was a foreman for Ryerson Steel in Dallas. He was a Baptist. Surviving are his daughter ; Terry Gail Parks of Anna ; son, Jerry Wayne Terrell of Anna ; adopted daughter, Jessica Lee Martindale of Garland ; brothers, Clyde Terrell and C. A. Terrell of Trenton ; sisters, Ruth Nitschie of Kilgore and Bonnie Armstrong of McKinney and four grandchildren.
