Obituary of Eva June Booker Eva June Booker, 65, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Booker was a native of Winsboro, La., and had been a resident of the Coast for 40 years. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include her husband, John E. Booker of Biloxi; four sons, Edward A. Holmes and Charles Sidney Holmes, both of McHenry, Robert L. Holmes of Gulfport and Archie L. Holmes Jr. of Leakesville; four daughters, Eva Christine Garcia of Gulfport, Ellen Marie Rodgers of Houston, Texas, Tiny Ruth Holmes of Long Beach and Emma Holmes of Biloxi; a sister, Claudia Smith of Perkinston; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport. A service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, with burial in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery in Gulfport. The Sun Herald ~ January 4, 1999
