Hastings, 93, farmer, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1987. Service 2 p.m. today, Kendall Funeral Chapel. Survivors: sons, Kenneth of Emporia, Francis of Tescott, Elvin of Council Grove, Allan of Herington; daughters, Vivian Brown of Overland Park, Opal Dover of Lenexa; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nine great-great- grandchildren. Memorial has been established with United Methodist Church Building Fund, Council Grove.
