The Courier, Waterloo, Iowa, Friday, December 03, 1948 Urbana - Funeral services will be held Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic church at Spencer's Grove for Frank Kramer, 79, who died Wednesday night at the home of his son, Clarence Kramer, in Urbana; had been in ill health two months; farmed near here for many years on his own place; came to Urbana to make his own place; came to Urbana to make his home in 1946; was a member of St. Mary's church; born May 21, 1869, near Urbana, to Mr. and Mrs. John Kramer; married Katherine May Jan. 20, 1891; Mrs. Kramer died in 1932; leaves six daughters, Mrs. Leo Hilger; David City, Neb.; Mrs. Clara Badding, Mrs. Lucile Beshaw, Mrs. Margaret Burrell, and Mrs. Gertrude Nichols, of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Christine Smith, Urbana; three sons, Lawrence, Ed, and Clarence, Urbana; one daughter and a sister preceded him in death; also leaves 35 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
